I'm a DJ and an electronic musician and a sound engineer and a girl who's generally in a whole lot of nerdy
audio and music roles. I was based in New Orleans, now I'm based in Brooklyn, but I'm still active in both scenes :)
This site is a mixture of a whole bunch of my projects. It's also an attempt at some new ones.
It's DJ mixes made alone and with friends, it's a whole
lot of the music I've made for games, it's a little bit of dance music I've made for fun. Soon, it's gonna be the sampler
instruments I've made for DecentSampler and (hopefully) a blog about sound design, music making, retro tech, and weird instruments on Linux
in addition to everything else.
Lots of what I've released here is in the creative commons, you can use it in your games, sites, movies, whatever.
I'm happy to say that licensing music that I would otherwise likely not be paid for this way has landed it everywhere from
indie games to Finland's high school exam software.
A lot of the stuff I'm obsessed with is open source or creative commons or just generally embracrd the free spirit of an older internet.
However, lots of it is also stuff that I've made for individual projects and kept my copyright for. I'll make sure everything is clearly marked :)
